The house is raised with a ladder leading to a small porch. A fence surrounds the house and a paper plant is in the yard.

Model of home 80% of Philippinos live in (farmhouse). Floor is usually split bamboo, walls are woven nipa grass or wood, and roof is made of nipa mats. Houses usually small because people are outside most of time.
